My Domestic Bliss

When I first moved to Charlotte, I took my career with me.  I worked for a great company and I wasn’t ready to leave it behind me when I moved.  I adored the people that I worked with and had ambitions of growing my career within the company.  Unfortunately, working from home in Charlotte was not exactly what I had hoped for.  I felt trapped in my old life while trying to build a new one.  So, I did what I knew was best for both parties and parted ways.

Since then, I have found my own bliss being a housewife.
Part of me thinks I was born to have this career.  Ever since I was a little girl, it has been my dream to be a wife and mother.  Some of my earliest memories are of dressing up our poor sweet blind Yorkie, Tea, in little outfits and pushing her around our house in a stroller for hours.  Maybe it is because my mom and grandmother were both homemakers or maybe it is because it just comes natural to me.  I’ll never know, but I do know this.  Providing a place of comfort for my husband and someday children is what makes me truly happy.  I find peace in cleaning, joy in decorating, and absolute happiness in being with my family.  So for now, this is my paradise!
I know, you are wondering when the babies are coming.  My answer is simple, not yet.  While we are excited at the thought of having little ones...we just are not quite there yet.  We are enjoying each other and our happy family of 3.

Xoxo,

Whitney
